(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) — Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) has announced four new and unique variety shows to be performed in the newly renovated theater during the 2022-23 season. Hip-Hop Fever, Blues Clues & You! Live on Stage, Ladies of Laughter – Back to Jersey!, and Rhythm of the Dance. Tickets for each go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10am.

HIP-HOP FEVER – Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.. Featuring Slick Rick, Rob Base, The Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Melle Mel & Scorpio of the Furious Five, Brand Nubian, Soul Sonic Force, Roxanne Shante, Grandmaster Caz, Playgirl Ari. Music by Grandwizard Theodore and DJ Hollywood. Directed by Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box and Sal Abbatiello of Fever Records. Tickets range from $49 to $99.

BLUE STATE AND YOU! LIVE ON STAGE – Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Blue’s Cues & You! Live on Stage is an epic new adventure! Josh is creating a magical theater show, but he needs your help! Kids and families will fall in love with theater as they solve Blue’s clues to discover what Josh needs to put on a show. With Broadway-style song and dance, this production pulls out all the stops! See Josh and Blue skidoo in amazing places! They will make a rainbow with MAGENTA! They are going to make a music video with RAINBOW PUPPY! They will float in outer space! And more! Discover all the singing, dancing, laughing and creativity with Blue, her friends and of course, YOU! Tickets range from $29.50 – $69.50.

LAUGHING LADIES – BACK TO JERSEY! – Friday, February 3, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. Check out these Jersey stand-ups for a night of nonstop laughs, featuring Sara Contreras, Zarna Garg, Liz Glazer, Maureen Langan and Marion Grodin, hosted by One Funny Mother, Dena Blizzard! The show features a cross-section of some of the funniest women to come out of the national Mrs. Laughter pageant first established at the YWCA of Bergen County High School in 1998. Since its inception, the Mrs. Laughter is a regular at historic theaters, casinos and even Madison Square Garden through its competition and touring and has catapulted the careers of dozens of comedians. The show also includes an appearance by Ladies of Laughter winner and first grandmother, Teaneck resident Micki Shilan. Tickets range from 29 – 39 dollars.

DANCE RHYTHM – Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. This extraordinary live show ushers in a new era in Irish entertainment, featuring world champion and Irish dancers, some of the finest traditional musicians and singers who are a hit everywhere. Combining traditional dance and music with the most up-to-date stage technology, this two-hour extravaganza takes the audience on a thrilling and energetic journey through the ages. It is internationally acclaimed as one of the most popular and busiest Irish dance shows in the world, making it such a hit with critics and audiences worldwide. Tickets range from $29 – $49.
